Kids got to help Grandma make bread for April...got their first lesson in how to make polish.
Polish is an equal mixture of water and flour used as a starter for really good bread.
Mom got the kids to remember how to say it in a weird way, which was the best part of the whole lesson. She told them its "po" liike dog poo and "lish" like a dog leash. GREAT TIMES watching them crack up from that.
Jamie has finally moved into her house and is starting her life in a great way. We threw her a wonderful fun housewarming party to honor such a wonderful and memorable time in her life.
Mom, Steph, and I made some great food and drinks. She had some good friends and co-workers show up for a very memorable and happy time together. Can't believe how well she is doing for herself. We are all growing up so fast. I couldn't be happier for Jamie...moving forward in a great way.
She has an amazing house and an amazing life right now...she is truely blessed in her life.

This was the kids third year attending the annual Apple Cider Pressing at April Joy Farms in Ridgefield, WA and mine and Jakes first year attending. We got to help pick the apples, wash the apples, put them in the chopper, press them, and then bottle them. Oh and can't forget being able to drink some too. =)
The apple press was such an awesome machine...I have decided we need one for apples and mostly our plums. =) The kids are really good little helpers pickcing and chopping. I was impressed with how well they did. After hours of chopping and pressing they still weren't done.
This year they even had a really old and big 2 strok...noisey but really awesome to watch. Kids were even very interested.
