PSC Race Day #5

Expecting clouds and rain, boy was I surprised Sunday to show up to weather like this.

Those of us that took the gamble on the weather were rewarded with sunshine and just enough wind to sail. Again we had all three boats on the water and we took the opportunity to test out the sails that came with our newest acquisition.

The wind was generally light and consistent until Race #3. During that race the wind shifted in a pattern that allowed for three upwind legs while doing the triangle course. After that we sailed the course in reverse for the remaining two races. All the racers brought their "A" game and were consistently close at the finish line.

So, without further ado, the results. Rank is based on average (Points/Races Raced) because we did not all race the same number of times.

I don't know about you guys, but every time I get out on the water with this club, I fall in love all over again. Newest to oldest members, you are all an integral part in my overall quality of life. Some of you I haven't even met yet, but I'd love to see some new faces this Saturday at the Social Sail down to Ilahee. Notice of event to follow shortly.
