Yesterday we had a great thunderstorm constantly swirling around us. Not that it kept us from being outside by any means! Kids got lots of playing time, Jake trimmed some hedges, and I got some good gardening done. It was truly a great time to be outside and listening “Jesus talk” as Micah puts it.
After a lunch break and quick game of Munchkins (a imagination building game with monsters and zombies, a lot like Dungeons and Dragons) the sun decided to come out and play so we decided to take advantage and go play again.
The kids favorite new past time is to play with Jake’s good rope. They love to get tied up and escape from crazy knots…but we also introduced to them the fun of jump rope. Now us adult has a great blast from the past and also had to each take our turn showing off our skills.
